A little background...
I trained as a photographer, way back. For a while I photographed dancers and building sites for a living, which was an interesting combination. Then I found myself doing other things: video direction, AV design, conference production, family man. When the threads drew together, I was a corporate scriptwriter. And that's how I've made my living for the past several decades.
I’ve written millions of words, and some of the best are on this site. More will be added from time to time (including a corporate section). At various times I've poured my energies into other areas - a weblog that there hasn't been much time for lately but may soon be resurrected; a couple of novel projects (see the Books page); songwriting (a compulsion without pause or end); and photography all over again (see this whole site).
As far as I’m concerned it’s all a kind of writing.
